Recently integrated into Starfleet, the Aegian-class frigate is a quick ship that carries a powerful battery of photon torpedoes and phasers and is used to protect fleets.

The Aegian-class frigates can be modified to function as a Shield Enhancer. When activated, this boosts the shield strength for all friendly ships within a specified distance to the frigate. Once the special energy is depleted the effect is turned off.
