[edit] Did You Know?

Star Trek: Shattered Universe was first announced back in 2001 as a Playstation 2 game to be published by Interplay. However, due to financial difficulties Interplay cancelled the project even though it was nearly complete. Thanks to TDK Mediactive, Viacom, Activision, and Starsphere Interactive the game has now been completed and released.

Towards the end of development TDK Mediactive was acquired by Take Two Games which subsequently delayed the European launch of the game by four months.

[edit] General Tips

Andrew Iverson: "Remember that each ship has three different possible configurations. Generally, always use the most powerful one available. Use the homing torpedoes by targeting and firing and then immediately move on to another target. Don't sit around waiting to see the enemy fighter explode or you'll lose valuable time."

Andrew Iverson: "Another hint: Don't waste time shooting at the web spinners in The Unwound Skin they are indestructible. Destroy the Tholian capitals as soon as they arrive this will stop more fighters from coming."

Henrik Markarian: "The un-guided (dumb) photon torpedoes and plasma cannons are specifically designed to destroy the hulls of capital ships. The attributes of these weapons makes them of little use against agile fighters, but they are very effective against the much slower moving capital ships. When attacking an enemy capital ship, take out the shields with the rapid firing weapons (bolts, phasers and disruptors) and then hammer away at the hull with the torpedoes and cannons. These weapons are on the Wraith, Spectre & Phantom (Photon Torpedo I & II,) on the Corsair (KAON & PION Torpedoes) and the Bird of Prey (Plasma Cannon I & II.)"

[edit] Walkthrough

Andrew Iversion and Henrik Markarian from Starsphere Interactive were kind enough to give information out about some of the missions which have been included in the walkthrough for the game.
