[edit] Star Trek: Away Team

Yulana Oxila
Yulana descends from the House of Oxila, a prominent Betazoid family that is the keeper of the Six Orbs of Choiza and guardian of the Sceptre of Betazed. Yulana's mother was an influential dilpomat for the Betazoid government, helping to form a favourable trade arrangement with the Ferengi Alliance.

Yulana uses her empathic abilities to know the minds of those with whom she serves. In combat, her empathic ability helps to guess the next move of an opponent.

Before her role as a Command Officer, Yulana served on a starshp as a Medical Officer. She still retains some healing knowledge, and she carries Hyposprays to help wounded Away Team members.

Marcus Refelian recruited Yulana for her leadership skills and for her ability to know the mind of an opponent.
